in the field of Air Traffic Control and Aviation Infrastructure is
seeking a Project Manager to join their team on a full-time basis.
This opportunity will give you the chance to join an organization that
manufactures, supplies, and integrates communication, navigation,
surveillance and air traffic management systems; for civilian and
military applications. Although you will be based in our client's
Ottawa office, travel to Romania will be required!

You will be tasked with the following:
-Project scheduling (identify critical path, monitor and control
tasks, for all disciplines)
-Prepare, control, and report on client budget
-Identify and negotiate changes of scope of the contract
-Identify risk - plan and implement risk minimization strategies
-Ensure customer specifications and expectations are met in a timely
manner
-Reduce cost deficiencies
-Make cost related and purchasing decisions
-Review and approve subcontractor invoices and billings
-Act as customer and vendor liaison
-Coordinate on-site installation and commissioning
-Ensure ISO 9001:2000 requirements are met and the project
administration procedure is followed

You bring a Bachelor degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or
Certification as a Professional Engineer, with extensive related work
experience including:
-Previous experience in executing a major civil, construction or
infrastructure contract
-Proven and demonstrated, technical and leadership achievements;
including attention to scheduling and budgets
-Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills with the proven
ability to be a good team leader and member
-Excellent decision making skills with evidence of sound technical
judgment, based on broad training and experience in technology
development and manufacturing programs
-Excellent communication skills, including the ability to listen
effectively and integrate information
-Demonstrated ability to express verbally and written technical and
business issues, clearly
-Proven ability to work in a dynamic environment, and effectively
manage project priorities
-Proven organizational and administrative skills
-Demonstrated capability to multi-task, and meet multiple project
goals concurrently
-Positive attitude, results oriented, highly motivated and reliable
