Product Marketing / marcomm needed

Product Marketing Engineer (Ottawa, permanent)

- This opportunity would be great for someone with an Applications
Engineering background interested in moving into a more business related
role. (i.e. Product Marketing Manager)
- Ideal for someone with direct marcomm experience, including marcomms
strategy, writing and distributing press releases, press and analyst
interviews, generating tradeshow collateral and in general organizing
tradeshow participation

Responsibilities:

- Participate in product planning and market communication activities.
- Press and analyst relations
- Industry publication articles
- Product collateral including brochures & whitepapers
- Tradeshow planning and execution
- Analysis of product application requirements
- Competitive analysis
- Product cost analysis

Must Have:

- At least 5 years experience in semiconductor product marketing/management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong research skills using internet and other tools
- Strong analytical skills

Assets:

- Experience in RF semiconductor marketing
- Experience in consumer electronics marketing
- Information organization skills
- Customer presentation skills
