MOLECULAR BIOLOGIST/CHEMIST MONTREAL based to $100K plus++

Molecular Biologist/Chemist or Pharmaceutics Specialist with
Intellectual Property or Patent Experience - to 100K Plus- Montreal, Canada

We are looking for a scientist with a solid background in Intellectual
Property and Patents. The successful candidate will conduct patent
analysis and design around drug formulation work, clearance opinion work
and regulatory authority counseling (e.g., Health Canada, FDA). You will
conduct Patent analysis for specific projects intended for Canada and
the US and secure opinions for clearance and freedom to operate.

You will prepare and review legal documents (e.g., briefs, contracts,
regulatory and compliance documents) and correspondence as well as
research and summarize legal issues. You will prepare and review
contracts, regulatory and compliance documents, transactional documents
and work with the patent litigation department and liaise with external
counsel. In addition, you will evaluate and develop legal policies and
programs to provide management with information and recommendations on
legal issues.

Ideally we are looking for a Master’s or Ph.D. in molecular biology or
chemistry coupled with a legal background in patents. Bilingualism is
preferred.
