Hardware (Board) Designer needed +++

Senior Hardware Designer (board) - Ottawa

- Perform schematic capture; participate in design and layout reviews and
also be responsible for overseeing layout
- Prepare hardware test plans. Responsible for lab testing and
characterization.
- Participate in NPI process improvements
- Provide product introduction support to Product Engineering and Operations
through the NPI cycle.
- Electrical Engineering Degree combined with 8+ years of hardware design
experience. End-to-end experience in product development cycle including
manufacturing support.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Experience working with high speed interface technologies including: XFI,
PCI-Express, XAUI, DDR Memory interface etc.
- Experience with PCB design flow. Previous experience with the Cadence
Board Design tools is an asset. Exposure to ASIC and FPGA development
process is desirable
- Knowledge of 10GbE and higher level protocols is an asset.
